We know how important it is to have a reliable delivery service and we have chosen to work exclusively with the UK's top-rated couriers DPD & Royal Mail. We offer customers a wide variety of shipping options, accurate publication dates and real-time stock information on all items during the checkout process. All orders are tracked
Order Cut-Off Times
All orders received before 3:45pm (Monday to Friday) will be processed on the same day (Excludes Free P&P where offered)
Orders received after 3:45pm, over the weekend or on bank holidays will be processed on the next available working day.
Orders Under £60
We do not offer free postage for orders below £60. Our SuperSaver option is shipped via our chosen courier for delivery within 2-3 working days (subject to stock availability). You will have the option to upgrade your delivery choice at additional cost if you require a faster service
Delivery Choices Over £60
During the checkout process, you will be offered a number of delivery choices as below:- (Please note that all orders are subject to stock availability)
FREE: Please allow 7-10 working days. We will dispatch your order within 7 working days.
ECOMONY: Please allow 3-4 working days. We will dispatch your order within 1-2 working days.
EXPRESS: Please allow 1-2 working days. We will dispatch your order on the same day (if received before 3:45pm) or the next available working day (if received after 3:45pm) using a next day delivery service. Please note that this is NOT a guaranteed next day service - please select one of our Timed Next Day services if this is important to you.
DPD NEXT DAY: For most locations, we offer a by 10:30 and by 12:00 service. We will dispatch your order on the same day (if received before 3:45pm) or the next available working day (If received after 3:45pm).
SATURDAY: For most locations, we offer a by 6PM service. We will dispatch your order on the same day (if received before 3:45pm) or the next available working day (If received after 3:45pm).
Republic of Ireland Shipping
We use DPD to ship to Ireland - please allow a minimum of 2 working days from dispatch to receive your order.
Postcode Restrictions
We do not offer free P&P to the locations below. Depending on your specific location, DPD offer a 1 or 2 working day service. Please check their website for relevant services.
Offshore: BT, GY, IM, JE, PO30 – PO41, TR21 – TR25
Scotland: AB, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, HS, IV, KA, KW, KY, ML, P, PH, TD, ZE
Pre-Publication Orders
If you order a publication that is not yet in print, we will process your order (taking full payment) and dispatch this as soon as the stock is available from our suppliers. The expected publication date can be found on the product page but please be aware that publishers can (and do) change these dates without notice. Should this affect your order significantly, we will contact you by email to keep you informed.
Out of Stock Items
If an item is out of stock, we will immediately contact our suppliers to source the title(s) for you. Most publishers typically quote 5-7 working days for delivery into our warehouse but in many cases it is faster. As soon as your title arrives at our warehouse, we will ship it to you using your chosen delivery option. If you require a title urgently, please call our Customer Service Team to confirm availability or an estimated delivery date.
Part-Shipping
In the event that your order contains both stock and non-stock items, to save postage costs we will wait until your order is complete before shipping to you using your chosen delivery option. If you require part of the order urgently, please use the Special Instructions area during the check-out process or contact our Customer Service Team before placing your order.
Please note that we will NOT part-ship orders if you have selected the free postage option. Otherwise, within reason, we do not make an additional charge for part-shipping (max 2 shipments) to our standard delivery area.
Delivery Charges
Our UK delivery costs are shown during the checkout process and are dependent on the service you choose.
Signature on Delivery
High value shipments may require a signature on delivery. If you are out, they will leave a card and you can contact them directly to arrange a re-delivery or you may prefer to collect a local collection point or depot. If you would like your items delivered to a work address or a friend/relative, please insert their details into the delivery address.
Return To Sender
If, through no fault on our part, your order is returned to us by our courier as not delivered, we will refund your order less the cost of the RTS fee charged by the delivery service used. This is currently £10.95.
Re-Delivery
If, through no fault on our part, your order is returned to us by our courier as "undeliverable", we reserve the right to make a charge for redelivery in line with our standard shipping costs.
Worldwide Shipping Available
We are happy to send books around the world and estimated shipping costs are displayed during the checkout process. If you are interested in buying books from outside the EU zone, please contact us for an accurate shipping cost.
