BS 7671 (The IET Wiring Regulations) sets the standards for electrical installation in the UK and many other countries. The IET co-publishes the Regulations with the British Standards Institution (BSI) and is the authority on electrical installation.
New Wiring Regulations are now IN PRINT and come into force 01/07/15
A major update to the Regulations published in January 2015 - BS 7671:2008 Incorporating Amendment No. 3:2015. This affects all users and contains updates that are vital to ensuring the safety of installers and consumers alike. All new installations from the 1st July 2015 must comply with Amendment No. 3 to BS 7671:2008

Corrections To IET Guidance Note 3 & On-Site Guide
The IET have alerted us to an error contained within the first printed editions of the above publications. If you purchased your copy after June 2015 it is unlikely that your copy is affected. However, if you are not sure the error is on page 121 of the Guidance Note 3 (Table 4) and page 125 of the On-Site Guide (Table B6). Corrections for both documents can be downloaded free of charge below:
